Different time on different road condition, but the dream is the same
These three photos were all taken on the way to Namtso in Tibet but in different years. From that you can see the road condition is changed. In the past several years the government spent a fortune to improve the road condition in Tibet. It is not only benefits for local people but also for travellers.
We have organized bike tours for years. Every year we have tours in this area. Most of the biking travellers prefer cycling in Tibet. Some of them carry their own bicycle arriving in Lhasa, from there to Zhangmu then arrive Kathmandu. Nowadays, most of the roads are in good condition and you are surrounded with beautiful landscape. Cycling here is easy but still with great physical challenge (average altitude above 4000 meters). Go to Tibet and enjoy a wonderful bike tour!
